Suno Brings Voices to iOS and Android for On-the-Go AI Song Creation
Suno's Voices feature is now available in its iOS and Android apps, letting creators record or select their own voice directly from mobile and use it in AI-generated songs.
Suno is bringing one of its most personal AI music features to phones. Voices is now available in the Suno mobile app on both iOS and Android, allowing creators to record a voice, select an existing Voice profile, and use it directly in AI-generated songs without moving to the desktop experience.
The mobile rollout turns a feature introduced with Suno v5.5 into a much more portable workflow. Voices can capture the characteristics of a creator’s own vocal recording and apply them to new Suno songs. Suno’s help documentation says users can create a Voice from a real-time recording or an existing audio file, with clean acapella recordings generally producing the best input.
From voice memo to AI song
On mobile, the process is deliberately simple. Open Create, tap +Voices, then choose an existing Voice or create a new one. That means a rough vocal idea recorded on a phone can become the starting point for a more complete AI-generated track without first exporting files to a computer.
This matters because AI music creation has increasingly moved beyond text prompts. A prompt can describe genre, mood, or instrumentation, but a recognizable human voice gives the result a stronger personal identity. By putting Voices directly into the mobile creation screen, Suno is reducing the gap between capturing an idea and turning it into a finished song.
According to the mobile launch announcement, free users receive a limited version of Voices, while paid plans receive full access. Suno’s own v5.5 materials identify Pro and Premier as the subscription tiers for the full Voices experience.
A more personal Suno workflow
Voices is not simply a generic vocal preset. Suno requires voice verification when a new Voice is created, and its Voices documentation recommends using a clear recording for better results. Availability can also vary by location.
The larger shift is straightforward: Suno is making personalized AI music creation less dependent on a desktop setup. For creators who sketch lyrics, melodies, or vocal ideas on their phones, the ability to move directly from a recording to an AI song makes the mobile app significantly more useful as a complete creation tool.
